Starting tomorrow, January 20, Dine Out Vancouver is set to surprise and delight adventurous diners with prix fixe menus to brighten up the dead of Winter.
Winter doldrums was exactly the impetus for Tourism Vancouver to start Dine Out Vancouver 15 years ago. They saw people trying to lose weight and save money after the holidays, and how restaurants struggled to stay afloat during the resulting slow time.
Dine Out Vancouver was created as a unique food festival in which restaurants create multi-course, discounted prix fixe menus to encourage diners to check out eateries they might not afford the rest of the year.
The list of participating restaurants has grown and this year they are up to 284!
New restaurants such as Mission Kits, Ritual, House Special and Cacao have entered the fray. And for the first time, Bishop’s and Vij’s on Cambie are included.
Taste Vancouver Food Tours is happy to see two of our North Vancouver partners taking part in Dine Out Vancouver!
Gyoza or Famous Fried Pickles or Side Green Salad
Tap Burger or Almond Pesto Linguine or Double Pepperoni Pizza
Nanaimo Jar or Cheesecake Mousse
All excellent with a BC craft brew or wine. More about the Tap and Barrel Menu
Ribolitta Soup or Tuna Poke or PIER 7 Antipasti
Grilled Sockeye Salmon or Braised Lamb Roulade or Vegetable Tikka Masala
Of course, if you miss these gems during Dine Out, you can get a taste of them in our LoLo Food Tour.
