Yes. Tours operate Rain or Shine!! We’re mostly indoors or under cover. Please dress appropriately, wear comfortable walking shoes and bring an umbrella (if raining)

Can’t I just explore these restaurants myself?
You could—but you’d miss the stories, hidden gems, and some of our off-menu exclusive VIP tastings. Our tours give you behind-the-scenes access, curated dishes, and a side of Vancouver most visitors never see.

Yes, tickets must be purchased online or over the phone in advance. Our tours tend to sell out quickly, especially from May to September. We try to accommodate bookings up to 3 hours before the tour starts. with Visa, MasterCard and American Express.
Is there a waitlist if a tour is sold out?
Yes, you can join waitlist on our booking page.
What is your cancellation and refund policy?
With Trip Protection: Cancel or reschedule anytime up to 1 hour before departure and receive a full refund (less Trip Protection and processing fees).
Without Trip Protection: Cancel or reschedule up to 24 hours in advance for a full refund. Inside 24 hours, we cannot offer refunds but will do our best to reschedule you.
Note: If a tour does not meet the minimum required number of 4 tour guests, Taste Vancouver Food Tours reserves the right to cancel the tour and reschedule tour guests to another date or give a refund.

Yes, restrooms are available at several stops along each route. While not every venue has one, guests will have multiple opportunities to use the bathroom.

Yes, all our tours include alcoholic tastings (Gastown: 4, Gastown Evening: 4, North Van 3, Brunch tour 1). You must be 19+ with valid ID. We provide non-alcoholic alternatives by request.

Each tour accommodates up to 16 guests and requires a minimum of 4 to run. Private groups can be larger—contact us to customize.
Are these tours child-friendly?
Yes, children are welcome! We recommend the North Vancouver Waterfront Food Tour for families with young children due to the easier terrain and stroller access.
Note: Tours are 3 hours long, so young children may find them tiring. Children under 3 join free.
Can I bring a stroller?
Yes, but we do recommend our North Vancouver Tour for those with strollers. Gastown’s narrow sidewalks, stairs, and cobblestones make it less stroller-friendly.
Can I bring my dog?
Pets are not allowed due to health regulations. Certified service animals are welcome.
Are tours available in other languages?
Currently, our public tours are conducted in English only. We can offer Spanish speaking tours for private tours.

Yes. There is nearby parking for both the Gastown and North Vancouver Tours at Station East (Lot #531) and Harbour Centre (Lot #123).
We highly recommend taking public transportation to Waterfront Station. Canada Line & Skytrain & SeaBus conveniently stop at Waterfront.
